When you join a Greek Organization anywhere, you fall underneath a governing body. The governing body Alpha Phi Alpha falls under at Old Dominion's (ODU) is the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). Under this council, the Divine 9 (a total of 9 minority, service Greek organizations fall under this council) is represented.

Although we have smaller numbers in this NPHC as a whole, we still come together to support, cooperate, and challenge each other.

I served the NPHC as the 2nd Vice President in the Fall of 2019 and the President for the remaining of the academic year. Under my leadership, I have implemented changes within the bylaws of the governing council and founded the NPHC ODU Greek Plots committee. I have also attended conferences and leadership workshops and programs such as the Association of Fraternal Leadership & Values (ASFLV) Conference in Indianapolis and ODU's LAUNCH Leadership Presidential Academy Program.
