Currently my family resides in Northern Virginia, which is our pit stop until we figure out our next move after moving countless times. Both of my parents are veterans, Marine Corps and Navy, and I have two younger sisters. During my father's active years, I had the opportunity to travel to a variety of countries such as Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Korea, Mexico, and Japan! I have also been to plenty of other states here in the US.
Over time, I developed a love for traveling. Now, whenever I get the chance, I get in my car and go as far as my gas tank allows me to go. I played sports in high school year-round, but since I have transitioned into college I have been involving myself with other hobbies to fill up my time such as going to the gym to stay fit (we know what Covid-19 has done to all of us!), playing videos games and streaming it with people who like the same thing, and learning different skills that peak my interest from time-to-time.
The college experience has allowed me to mature mentally and philosophically due to the goals and aspirations I dream of achieving. As of now, finishing up my senior year as a Mechanical Engineer, I'm the Chapter President of my great chapter, an ePortoflio Tutor to help other students and faculty build great portfolios like this, and a peer mentor for the younger engineering students to show them what ODU offers and what's out there for us the both the academic and professional worlds.
